Pre-filling service - e-tax

Information availability

For 2009, an increased number of organisations have agreed to report information as early as possible. This information will become progressively available between July and October, with most being available from mid-August.

Not all organisations will have their information available at the same time. If some or all of your information is not available at the time you attempt to complete your e-tax return, we suggest you try using the pre-filling service again at a later date.

You may wish to use our free alerts service. This service is available through e-tax and will send you an email or SMS message when more of your information becomes available.

Service maintenance Maintenance of our systems occurs from time to time on a weekend between 6.00pm Saturday and 3.00am Sunday (Australian Eastern Daylight-saving Time). This may affect the pre-filling service. Leading up to a maintenance weekend, e-tax will display a message advising the dates and times the pre-filling service may be affected, and when it is expected to resume.
