We have received a significant number of enquiries from tax agents requiring information on downloading our reports into Excel or other spreadsheet programs. Agents have expressed a need for this feature so they can better use the information provided in ELS reports.
The ability to download these reports into Excel allows better manipulation of data using features such as:
sorting
filtering, and
easier printing.
Agents can tailor reports to specific clients or split client lists, so that each agent in a practice receives only a list of their own clients. The downloaded reports also allow for reconciliation and comparisons of client information, such as viewing which clients have and have not lodged returns.
Many of the ELS software packages have the ability to provide this or similar functionality.

To assist with these features, agents should refer to user manuals or help files supplied with their ELS software package.
