Division 3 - Cancellation or Suspension of Registration
SECTION 1294 BOARD TO GIVE OPPORTUNITY FOR HEARING ETC. 1294(1) [Right to appear before Board] The Board shall not: (a) cancel or suspend the registration of a person as an auditor, as a liquidator or as a liquidator of a specified body corporate; or (b) deal with a person in any of the ways mentioned in subsection 1292(9); unless the Board has given the person an opportunity to appear at a hearing held by the Board and to make submissions to, and adduce evidence before, the Board in relation to the matter.
