Hide history noteA person may recover from the insurer of a CCIV an amount that was payable to the CCIV under the insurance contract if: (a) a sub-fund of the CCIV is deregistered; and (b) the CCIV has a liability to the person that was a liability of the sub-fund; and (c) the insurance contract covered that liability immediately before the sub-fund was deregistered.
