SECTION 238   Availability of assistance and use of force in executing a warrant  
Executing officers

238(1)    
In executing a * search warrant, an * executing officer may obtain such assistance and use such force against persons and things as is necessary and reasonable in the circumstances.

Authorised officers

238(2)    
In executing a * search warrant, an * authorised officer who is assisting in executing the warrant may use such force against persons and things as is necessary and reasonable in the circumstances.

Persons who are not authorised officers

238(3)    
In executing a * search warrant, a person who is not an * authorised officer but who has been authorised to assist in executing the warrant may use such force against things as is necessary and reasonable in the circumstances.
