17   After section 11D

Insert:

11E Approved guarantees

(1) In this Act, an approved guarantee is:

(a) a guarantee given by an ADI; or

(b) a guarantee given by or on behalf of the Commonwealth, a State or a Territory;

that meets the requirements that APRA determines in writing.

(2) A determination under subsection (1) is a disallowable instrument for the purposes of section 46A of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
