Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006
A director of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporation contravenes this section if he or she fails to take all reasonable steps to comply with, or to secure compliance with, Parts 7-2 and 7-3 .
Note:
This section is a civil penalty provision (see section 386-1 ).
363-1(2)
A person commits an offence if he or she contravenes subsection (1) and the contravention is dishonest.
Penalty: 2,000 penalty units or imprisonment for 5 years, or both.
363-1(3)
Subsection (1) does not apply to section 339-85 , 339-95 , 345-5 or 345-10 .
363-1(4)
This section does not affect the application of the provisions of this Chapter to a director as an officer.
