Hide history noteIf a business name is registered to an entity, a notice under this Act and the Transitional Act may be given to the entity by: (a) leaving it at, or sending it by pre-paid post to, the address shown in the Business Names Register as the address for service; or (b) if there is an email address on the Business Names Register for the entity, and the entity has given its consent to the use of that address in receipt of notices - sending it to that email address.
[ CCH Note: S 73 will be amended by No 69 of 2020 (as amended by No 35 of 2022), s 3 and Sch 1 items 314 and 315, by substituting " recorded by the Registrar under this Act or the Transitional Act " for " shown in the Business Names Register " in para (a) and " recorded by the Registrar under this Act or the Transitional Act " for " on the Business Names Register " in para (b), effective 1 July 2026 or a day or days to be fixed by Proclamation.
