28   AASL DEBT DISCHARGED BY DEATH  


Upon the death of a person who owes an AASL debt to the Commonwealth, the debt is taken to have been paid.
Note:

AASL debts are not provable in bankruptcy: see subsection 82(3AB) of the Bankruptcy Act 1966 .
