Division 3 - Transfer of appeals to Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2)  

SECTION 181   FEDERAL COURT RULES  

181(1)    
Rules of Court made under the Federal Court of Australia Act 1976 may make provision in relation to the transfer of appeals under this Division.

181(2)    
In particular, the Rules of Court may set out factors that are to be taken into account in deciding whether to transfer an appeal.

181(3)    
Before Rules of Court are made for the purposes of this section, the Federal Court must consult the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2).
