REGULATION 13.19  

13.19   CUSTODIANS OF SUPERANNUATION ENTITIES - SPECIFIED AMOUNTS  
For the purposes of subparagraphs 123(1)(b)(i) and (ii) and subsection 123(1A) of the Act, $5,000,000 is the prescribed amount.

[ CCH Note: TEMPORARY MODIFICATION DECLARATION No 3 (No GN 25 of 29 June 1994 and REVOKED by No 169 of 1995, Sch 6 item 17) provides that reg 13.19 is to have effect, in relation to custodians of superannuation entities (other than excluded funds), as if it were modified by substituting ``subparagraphs 123(1)(b)(i), (ii) and (iii)'' for ``subparagraphs 123(1)(b)(i) and (ii)''.

This declaration is effective 1 December 1993 and is deemed to have ceased to have effect immediately before the commencement of Sch 6 item 17 of No 169 of 1995 on 16 December 1995.]

Reg 13.19 amended by No 169 of 1995, s 3 and Sch 7 item 2, effective 16 December 1995, by inserting ``and subsection 123(1A)''. No 169 of 1995, Sch 7 item 3, provides for the following savings provision:

This Schedule does not, by implication, prevent or restrict the exercise of the power to make regulations repealing or amending regulation 3.03 or 13.19 of the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Regulations .
