Financial Transaction Reports Act 1988 (Repealed)
A financial institution shall maintain a register in which the institution enters transactions, and classes of transactions, for the purposes of section 11 .
12(2) [Manner and form]The register shall be maintained in the approved manner and form.
12(3) [Register to include prescribed details]The register shall include the prescribed details in relation to each transaction, or class of transactions, that is entered in the register.
12(4) [Entry not in approved manner and form](a) a transaction, or class of transactions, is entered in a financial institution's exemption register;
(b) the entry contains the prescribed details in relation to the transaction or class of transactions; and
(c) the entry is not in the approved manner and form;
the fact that the entry is not in the approved manner and form shall be disregarded in determining whether or not the transaction, or any transaction falling within that class, is an exempt transaction.
12(5) [``prescribed details'']In this section:
"prescribed details"
, in relation to a transaction or class of transactions, means the details of the transaction or class of transactions that are referred to in Schedule
