That this bill be now read a second time.
The Superannuation Supervisory Levy Imposition Amendment Bill 2020 complements the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority Amendment (APRA Industry Funding) Bill 2020 by ensuring the Treasurer has adequate flexibility to set the levies at a level required for institutions in the superannuation industry to pay their appropriate share. Full details are contained in the explanatory memorandum.
