About the Superannuation Industry Stewardship Group
The superannuation industry stewardship group is one of the stewardship groups operated by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a means of improving the client experience and administration of Australia’s tax, super and registry systems.
The group provides an opportunity for strategic discussion to develop and improve the administration and operation of the tax and super system into the future.
The group will focus on:
- emerging issues related to the super laws and matters that affect the sustainability of the overall superannuation system in operation
- providing an opportunity for both industry and regulators to undertake strategic discussions to develop and improve the administration and operation of the super system into the future.
