The group will focus on strengthening the ability of tax and BAS agents to protect, detect and respond to cyberthreats to safeguard client data and protect the integrity of the tax, superannuation and registry systems. It aims to identify opportunities and activities to:
- understand cyber security issues and challenges faced by tax and BAS agents
- educate tax and BAS agents on actions they can take to strengthen their cyber security
- inform and support government and industry-led initiatives to strengthen the safety and security of digital interactions for tax professionals.
