SMSF early engagement and voluntary disclosure service
If you are an SMSF trustee or professional, you can use our SMSF early engagement and voluntary disclosure service. This service allows you to engage early with us in relation to unrectified contraventions.

SMSF auditor professional-to-professional support service
If you're an SMSF auditor, you can use our SMSF auditors' professional-to-professional support service (which we refer to as the Super P2P service) for technical assistance. You can use this service to request general advice on the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act and Regulations requirements or SMSF administrative issues.

Reporting SMSF auditor number misuse
If you are an SMSF auditor and have concerns that your SMSF auditor number (SAN) has been misused, you can email us for help. We can send you a list of the returns on which your SAN has been recorded so you can confirm whether your SAN has been misused. SAN misuse can also be reported via this service
To obtain a list send an email to atosmsfauditorteam@ato.gov.au
Specific advice
You can request SMSF specific advice about how the super law applies to a particular transaction or arrangement for a SMSF including its investments or payment of benefits.
