Notes on clauses

Clause 1: Short title

1. This clause sets out the title by which the Bill, when enacted, is to be cited - Privacy Legislation Amendment (Emergencies and Disasters) Act 2006 .

Clause 2: Commencement

2. This clause provides that the Bill, when enacted, will come into operation on the day after the Bill receives Royal Assent.

Clause 3: Schedule(s)

3. This clause provides that the amendments made by the Bill, when enacted, are as set out in the Schedules.
