SECTION 28 REGULATIONS 28(1) [Governor-General may make regulations] The Governor-General may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, prescribing all matters required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed, or necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act, and, in particular: (a) requiring a depositor, the personal representative of a depositor, the trustee in bankruptcy of a depositor who has become bankrupt to furnish to the authorized person such information as is required by the regulations within such time as is prescribed; and (b) prescribing penalties, not exceeding a fine of $200, for offences against the regulations.This information is provided by CCH Australia Limited Link opens in new window.
