PRELIMINARY
SECTION 2
COMMENCEMENT
2(1)
[Royal Assent]
Section 1 and this section shall come into operation on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
2(2) [Proclamation]The remaining provisions of this Act shall come into operation on a day or days fixed by Proclamation.
[ CCH Note: The remaining provisions of Pt I, s 24 and Pt IV-VII were proclaimed to commence 1 July 1988. S 7-15 were proclaimed to commence 1 July 1990. S 16 and 17 were proclaimed to commence 1 January 1990. The remaining provisions of Pt III were proclaimed to commence 1 February 1991.]
