SECTION 1290 CANCELLATION AT REQUEST OF REGISTERED PERSON 1290(1) (Request for cancellation of registration) Where a person who is registered as an auditor, as a liquidator, as a liquidator of a specified body corporate or as an official liquidator requests the Commission to cancel his or her registration, the Commission may cancel the registration of that person as an auditor, as a liquidator, as a liquidator of that body corporate or as an official liquidator, as the case may be. 1290(2) [When decision takes effect] A decision of the Commission under subsection (1) to cancel the registration of a person as an auditor, as a liquidator, as a liquidator of a specified body corporate or as an official liquidator comes into effect as soon as practicable upon the making of the decision.This information is provided by CCH Australia Limited Link opens in new window.
