SECTION 830 NATURE OF BANNING ORDER 830(1) [Effect of order] Where this Division empowers the Commission to make a banning order against a person, the Commission may, by written order, prohibit the person: (a) in any case - permanently; or (b) except where the Commission is empowered by virtue of paragraph 828(c) or 829(e) to make the order - for a specified period; from doing an act as: (c) a representative of a dealer; (d) a representative of an investment adviser; or (e) a representative of a dealer or of an investment adviser; whichever the order specifies. 830(2) [Variation or revocation] The Commission shall not vary or revoke a banning order except under section 831, 832, or 833.This information is provided by CCH Australia Limited Link opens in new window.
