SECTION 886 POWER OF COMMISSION TO REQUIRE CERTAIN INFORMATION 886 The Commission may, by written notice, require a person (in this section called the principal ) to supply the Commission with: (a) the name and address of the person who contributed or prepared specified advice or a specified analysis or report; or (b) the names and addresses of all persons who, during a specified period, contributed or prepared any advice, analysis or report; being advice, or an analysis or report, about securities that was published: (c) in a newspaper or periodical owned or published by the principal; (d) in the course of, or by means of, transmissions that:(i) the principal makes by means of an information service; or
(ii) are made by means of an information service that the principal owns, operates or makes available; or(e) in sound recordings, video recordings, or data recordings, that the principal makes available as mentioned in paragraph 77(6)(c).
