PART 8 - REVIEW OF DECISIONS  

SECTION 54   NOTIFICATION OF RIGHT TO SEEK INTERNAL REVIEW  

54(1)   [Statement to be included in notice of decision]  

A notice that is given to the person affected by a reviewable decision and advises that person of the decision must include a statement to the effect that the person may, under section 55 , request the Board to reconsider the decision.

54(2)   [Direction deemed notice of decision]  

For the purposes of subsection (1), a notice under subsection 33(2) , 34(1) , 35(1) or 36(1) giving a person a direction is taken to be a notice advising the person of the decision to give the direction.

54(3)   [Non-compliance with subsec (1)]  

A failure to comply with subsection (1) in relation to a reviewable decision does not affect the validity of the decision.
