SECTION 64A COMPLIANCE WITH DETERMINATIONS OF THE SUPERANNUATION COMPLAINTS TRIBUNAL
64A(1)
If:
(a)
a complaint has been made to the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal under section 14 of the
Superannuation (Resolution of Complaints) Act 1993
concerning a disability benefit (whether under a contract of insurance or otherwise); and
(b)
the Tribunal decides that a person other than a trustee or an insurer is responsible for determining the existence of the disability; and
(c)
the Tribunal joins the person under paragraph 18(1)(d) of that Act as a party to the complaint;
the person must comply with any determination made in respect of the person by the Tribunal.
64A(2)
In this section:
Superannuation Complaints Tribunal
means the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal established under section 6 of the
Superannuation (Resolution of Complaints) Act 1993
.
