SECTION 469-10
RIGHT TO COMPENSATION
If: (a) a person (the person in contravention ) contravenes subsection 469-5(1) , (2) or (3) ; and (b) a person (the victim) suffers damage because of the contravention;
If: (a) a person (the person in contravention ) contravenes subsection 469-5(1) , (2) or (3) ; and (b) a person (the victim) suffers damage because of the contravention;
the person in contravention is liable to compensate the victim for the damage.
