140   Requirement as to source of credit for goods or services  

140(1)    
A supplier must not require a purchaser of goods or services to apply for, or obtain, credit from a particular credit provider.

Criminal penalty: 100 penalty units.

140(2)    
Subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability.
