8   Saving - appointments

(1) An appointment of a person under section 12 of the Archives Act 1983 as the Chairman of the Council, being an appointment that is in force immediately before the commencement of this item, continues in force on and after that commencement as if it were an appointment of the person as Chair of the Council.

(2) An appointment of a person under section 12 of the Archives Act 1983 as the Deputy Chairman of the Council, being an appointment that is in force immediately before the commencement of this item, continues in force on and after that commencement as if it were an appointment of the person as Deputy Chair of the Council.
