VET Student Loans Act 2016
The Secretary may, in writing, delegate any or all of his or her powers or functions under this Act to:
(a) an APS employee; or
(b) an officer of an approved external dispute resolution scheme operator.

In exercising powers or performing functions under a delegation under subsection (1), the delegate must comply with any directions of the Secretary.
114(3)
The VSL Tuition Protection Director may, in writing, delegate any or all of the Director ' s powers or functions under this Act (other than paragraph 66N(1)(e) ) to an APS employee who holds or performs the duties of an APS Level 6 position, or an equivalent or higher position, in:
(a) the Department; or
(b) the Department administered by the Education Minister.
Note:
Paragraph 66N(1)(e) gives the VSL Tuition Protection Director the function of making a legislative instrument under section 12 of the VET Student Loans (VSL Tuition Protection Levy) Act 2019 .

In exercising powers or performing functions under a delegation under subsection (3), the delegate must comply with any directions of the VSL Tuition Protection Director.
