SECTION 23BB  

23BB   VETSL DEBT DISCHARGED BY DEATH  

Upon the death of a person who owes a VETSL debt to the Commonwealth, the debt is taken to have been paid.

VETSL debts are not provable in bankruptcy: see subsection 82(3AB) of the Bankruptcy Act 1966 .
