Coronavirus Economic Response - Aviation Support Program |
To provide financial assistance to participants in the Australian aviation sector to assist with the impact on the sector of the Coronavirus known as COVID-19. This objective also has the effect it would have if it were limited to measures: (a) that are peculiarly adapted to the government of a nation and cannot otherwise be carried on for the benefit of the nation; or (b) relating to trade and commerce with other countries, or among the States and Territories; or (c) for the purposes of the defence of the Commonwealth and of the States; or (d) to give effect to Australia's obligations under Annex 17 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, particularly Chapter 4 of that Annex; or (e) in, or in relation to, a Territory. |
