CHAPTER 1 - PRELIMINARY  

SECTION 2   COMMENCEMENT  

2(1)   [Rule]  

Subject to this section, this Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

2(2)   [Proviso]  

If the day (`` TLAA day '') on which the Taxation Laws Amendment Act (No. 3) 1992 receives the Royal Assent is a later day than the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, Parts 2 to 10 (inclusive), 12, 13, 14 and 15 commence on the TLAA day.
