Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993

SECTION 143 OBJECT OF PART  
143(1)
The object of this Part is to prohibit false and misleading conduct in relation to superannuation interests.

143(2)
To that end, this Part contains provisions about:

(a) criminal liability arising from certain conduct relating to superannuation interests (sections 144 and 145); and

(b) civil liability arising from certain conduct relating to superannuation interests (sections 144, 146, 147 and 148).
