PART 7.1 - INTERPRETATION
SECTION 765 MISLEADING REPRESENTATION 765(1) [Future matters] When a person makes a representation with respect to any future matter (including the doing of, or the refusing to do, any act) and the person does not have reasonable grounds for making the representation, the representation shall be taken to be misleading. 765(2) (Repealed by No 156 of 1999, Sch 3, Pt 1 (effective 13 March 2000).) 765(3) [Meaning] Subsection (1) shall be deemed not to limit by implication the meaning of a reference to a misleading representation, a representation that is misleading in a material particular or conduct that is misleading or is likely or liable to mislead.This information is provided by CCH Australia Limited Link opens in new window.
