SECTION 395.47
Arrangement with States and Territories
(1)
The Immigration Minister may arrange for a serious offender in relation to whom a community safety detention order is in force to be detained in a prison of a State or Territory.
(2)
If an arrangement is made under subsection (1) , the community safety detention order is taken to authorise the chief executive officer (however described) of the prison to detain the offender in the prison while the order is in force.
