Division 407 - Registrar ' s powers  

SECTION 407-10   REGISTRAR MAY REQUIRE INFORMATION FROM PERSONS ON A REGISTER  

407-10(1)    
If information about a person is included on a register kept by the Registrar, the Registrar may at any time, in writing, require that person to give the Registrar specified information about the person if information of that kind is included on that register in relation to the person.

407-10(2)    
The person must provide the information within such reasonable period, and in such form, as is specified by the Registrar.

407-10(3)    
A person commits an offence if the person contravenes subsection (2) .

Penalty: 50 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months, or both.

407-10(4)    
An offence against subsection (3) is an offence of strict liability.
