Appointment of special administrator
SECTION 490-5
PERIOD OF APPOINTMENT
490-5(1)
The appointment must specify the period for which the special administrator is appointed.
490-5(2)
The Registrar may extend the period for which a special administrator is appointed.
490-5(3)
An extension under subsection (2) must: (a) be made in writing; and (b) be made before the period to be extended ends.
490-5(4)
An appointment: (a) has effect, subject to paragraph (b) , until the end of the period of the appointment; and (b) ceases to have effect if it is terminated under section 505-1 before the end of that period.
