Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013
The rules may do the following: (a) establish a body corporate; (b) name the body corporate; (c) provide for the composition of the body corporate; (d) specify the functions of the body corporate; (e) specify the powers of the body corporate, including the power of the body corporate to charge fees; (f) provide for the composition of the governing body of the body corporate; (g) deal with the appointment, and terms and conditions of appointment, of members of the governing body of the body corporate; (h) specify procedures relating to the operation of the governing body of the body corporate; (i) specify any requirements or prohibitions that apply to the body corporate or the governing body of the body corporate; (j) deal with the application of other Commonwealth laws to the body corporate; (k) provide for committees of the body corporate; (l) provide for the staff of, or any other person working for, the body corporate; (m) provide for the appointment, and terms and conditions of appointment, of any Chief Executive (however described) of the body corporate; (n) identify the Minister who is responsible for the body corporate; (o) identify any powers of a Minister in relation to the body corporate; (p) provide for matters of a transitional nature in relation to establishing or abolishing the body corporate; (q) provide for other matters relating to a matter referred to in any of the above paragraphs.
Note:
The body corporate may be abolished by revoking the rules that established the body corporate.
