Entitlement to fees and allowances
77(1)
A person required by this Act, another Act or an instrument made under an Act to give information or produce or give a document or thing to the Tribunal is to be paid, in accordance with the rules, any fees, and any allowances for expenses, prescribed by the rules for compliance with the requirement.
Rules concerning fees and allowances
77(2)
Without limiting the scope of rules that may be made for the purposes of subsection (1) , those rules may prescribe, or prescribe matters relating to, any or all of the following: (a) the circumstances in which a person is to be paid; (b) the circumstances in which a person is not to be paid; (c) who must pay; (d) the time when payment is required.
77(3)
Rules made for the purposes of subsection (1) may do any or all of the following: (a) prescribe the amount of, or a method for working out the amount of, a fee or allowance; (b) make provision in relation to the whole or a part of a fee or allowance; (c) provide for the Tribunal to make orders relating to the payment of a fee or allowance in relation to a proceeding.
