REGULATION 10.2.135A   REFERENCES TO AUTHORISED FOREIGN EXCHANGE DEALERS  

10.2.135A(1)   [ Application]  

For section 1444 of the Act, this regulation applies to a reference, in a law of the Commonwealth (within the meaning of Division 2 of Part 10.2 of the Act), to:


(a) an authorised foreign exchange dealer; or


(b) a person authorised to carry on business as a dealer in foreign exchange.

10.2.135A(2)   [ On and after FSR commencement]  

On and after the FSR commencement, the reference is taken to include a holder of an Australian financial services licence that authorises the holder to buy and sell foreign currency.
