Modifying legislative instruments
10 Contents of section 8 (How to apply) 10(1)Section 8 of the Product Disclosure Statement must:
(a) describe, in the form of a summary, how to invest in the simple managed investment scheme; and
(b) explain the cooling-off period that applies to the simple managed investment scheme; and
(c) explain how to make a complaint (by means that include the provision of relevant contact details).
10(2)
The responsible entity:
(a) may provide more detailed information about cooling-off periods, complaints and dispute resolution; and
(b) may provide that information by applying, adopting or incorporating a matter in writing.
CCH Note: Schedule 10E is modified by the following legislative instruments that commenced on or after 1 January 2022: the ASIC Corporations (Removing Barriers to Electronic Disclosure) Instrument 2015/649 (commenced before 1 January 2022 but modification commenced after 1 January 2022 due to amendments made to 2015/649 by the ASIC Corporations (Amendment) Instrument 2022/940).
Schedule 10E is also modified by the ASIC Corporations (Disclosure of Fees and Costs) Instrument 2019/1070.
