Subject to subsection (2), the Tribunal must conduct a review meeting without oral submissions from the parties.
34(2) [Where oral submissions allowed]The Tribunal may, if it thinks necessary, make an order allowing the parties to make oral submissions to the Tribunal at the review meeting.
34(3) [Time and place for oral submissions]If the Tribunal makes an order under subsection (2), the Tribunal must give the parties written notice of the date, time and place fixed for making the oral submissions.
34(4) [Party does not intend to make oral submissions]If a party or the party's representative has advised the Tribunal that the party does not intend to make oral submissions in accordance with an order made under subsection (2), the Tribunal may conduct the review meeting without oral submissions from the party.
34(5) [Non-attendance by party]If a party or the party's representative does not attend the review meeting at the time fixed for the meeting, the Tribunal may conduct the review meeting without oral submissions from the party or the party's representative.
34(6) [Use of interpreter]If a party attending the review meeting is not proficient in English, the Tribunal may direct the use of an interpreter.
