Customs Act 1901
If a monitoring officer is in or on premises that he or she entered with the consent of the occupier of the premises, the officer may request the occupier to answer any questions put by the monitoring officer, but the occupier is not obliged to comply with the request.
214AH(2) [Any person may be asked questions under warrant]If a monitoring officer is in or on premises that he or she has entered under a warrant issued under section 214AF or 214AG, the officer may require any person on the premises to answer any questions put by the monitoring officer.
Note:
Failure to answer a question put under this subsection may be an offence. See section 243SA.
