Where there is in force for the time being a Proclamation under section
8A
of the
Customs Act 1901
declaring that, for the purposes of the administration of the Customs, a part of a State or a part of a Territory specified in the Proclamation is attached to an adjoining State or an adjoining Territory so specified, the part of the State or Territory so specified shall, for the purposes of this Act, be deemed to be part of the adjoining State or Territory.
