Tampering with mail-bags

(1)
A person must not fraudulently open or tamper with a mail-bag.

Penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years.

(2)
A person must not knowingly or recklessly open a mail-bag unless the person is authorised to do so by Australia Post.

Penalty: Imprisonment for 2 years.
