SECTION 36A Periods for which certain certificates remain in force  
36A(1)
The regulations may, in respect of certificates under subsections 33(2) , 33(4) , 33A(2) , 33A(4) , 34(2) , 34(4) , 35(2) , 35(4) and 36(3) , prescribe:

(a) periods as the maximum periods during which such certificates may remain in force; and

(b) the manner in which such certificates may be revoked before the end of such periods.

36A(2)
Where a regulation made for the purposes of subsection (1) provides a maximum period during which certificates of a particular kind may remain in force, a certificate of that kind (whether made before or after the regulation came into force) remains in force for that period unless it is revoked, in accordance with the regulations, before the end of that period.
