Part 1   Preliminary

2   Commencement

(1) Subject to this section, this Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Part 2 of Schedule 1 commences on 1 July 1997.

(3) If Schedule 2 to theReform of Employment Services (Consequential Provisions) Act 1997does not commence before the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, the amendment of the definition of eligible employment services provider in subsection 6(1) of thePrivacy Act 1988 made by this Act commences immediately after the commencement of Schedule 2 to theReform of Employment Services (Consequential Provisions) Act 1997.
