SECTION 673-5   ENGAGEMENT OF CONSULTANTS ETC. BY THE REGISTRAR  

673-5(1)    
The Registrar may engage persons having suitable qualifications and experience as consultants to, or to perform services for, the Registrar.

673-5(2)    
An engagement under subsection (1) is to be made:

(a)    on behalf of the Commonwealth; and

(b)    in writing.

673-5(3)    
A person does not hold a public office within the meaning of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973 if the person is engaged as a consultant.
