SECTION 163-20 FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH DIRECTIONS
163-20(1)
A private health insurer commits an offence if the insurer contravenes a direction given to it under section 163-15.
Penalty: 300 penalty units.
163-20(2)
If an individual:
(a)
commits an offence against subsection (1) because of Part 2.4 of the
Criminal Code
(extensions of criminal responsibility); or
(b)
commits an offence under Part 2.4 of the
Criminal Code
in relation to an offence against subsection (1);
he or she is punishable, on conviction, by a fine not exceeding 60 penalty units.
