SECTION 253-45 STATUTORY AGENCY ETC. FOR PURPOSES OF PUBLIC SERVICE ACT  
253-45(1)
The staff required to assist the Private Health Insurance Ombudsman are to be persons engaged under the Public Service Act 1999 .

253-45(2)
For the purposes of the Public Service Act 1999 :
(a) the Private Health Insurance Ombudsman and the APS employees assisting him or her together constitute a Statutory Agency; and
(b) the Private Health Insurance Ombudsman is the Head of that Statutory Agency.
