SECTION 282   HOW FUNCTIONS OR POWERS MUST BE PERFORMED OR EXERCISED  
Authorised person must comply with President ' s directions

282(1)    
In performing or exercising a function or power of the Tribunal, an authorised person must comply with any directions given by the President under this section.

282(2)    
If the direction is made in writing, the direction is not a legislative instrument.

Applying opinion, belief or state of mind

282(3)    
If performing or exercising a function or power of the Tribunal depends on the Tribunal ' s opinion, belief or state of mind in relation to a matter, the President or an authorised person may perform or exercise the function or power on the opinion, belief or state of mind of the President or authorised person in relation to the matter.
